Born in 1957, Kiran Manandhar is a Nepali visual artist with a career spanning over five decades. He holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His practice has remained active both nationally and internationally, contributing significantly to the development of contemporary art in Nepal.

He served as Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) from 2010 to 2014, reflecting his role within the broader institutional and cultural landscape.
