Mukesh Shrestha is a Nepali visual artist working across contemporary painting. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Banaras Hindu University, India, where he was awarded a Gold Medal in 2008.His academic career includes teaching at Tribhuvan University’s Central Department of Fine Arts (2009–2018) and serving as Head of the Painting Department at Sirjana College of Fine Arts (2016–2018). He has also been a visiting lecturer at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania.

He continues to live and work in Nepal, contributing to the evolving landscape of contemporary art.
